Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Lovely fresh range of aromas, with notes of strawberries, red currants and raspberries. Very harmonious palate and intensely sappy. Firm, sound tannins but no trace of heaviness or crudeness and lots of depth. A well-finished, very classical Bordeaux, designed for long ageing. 17
