Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Impeccably refined nose—a wine that positively revels in red-berry fruit. Supple but fleshy body, utterly seamless tannins and lovely persistence. 17
Michael Schuster: Dense, fresh, vigorous, mineral, and raspberry-sweet nose; nicely balanced, restrained, discreet, elegant claret, with the year’s fine but firm tannin and fresh acidity, in a very harmonious whole; long, gently resonant, refreshing wine, fresh, mineral-tinged, long and graceful in the mouth within the firm tannin texture; long and scented to finish, with fruit and aroma. Very nice, very restrained, very Pessac-Léognan. Will need six to eight years. 2015–25+. 16/16.5
