Michael Schuster: Unassembled when tasted. Owner Berenice Lurton reckoned the final wine would have something like 140-150 grams per litre of residual sugar, one of the sweetest Climens ever! Will doubtless be a great Climens in the very rich, liquorous style of the year. 19?

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: The blend still remains to be finalised but all of the batches tasted indicate the most prodigious dessert wine to emerge from this stupendous estate for a quarter of a century. The purity and refinement of flavour are simply breathtaking. 20?
