Stephen Brook: Rich, spicy mineral and grapefruit nose, tangy. Rich, full-bodied, powerful, tight. Excellent fruit and concentration, lime and pears, touch of toast; good length. 17
Andrew Jefford: Bright silvered gold. Suggests more depth and dimensions than its Valmur stablemate, but these are early days and it is far from full articulacy. Hint of puffed wheat. Intense, mineral, lots of taut lemon; real breadth here. Mealy, bready notes to finish, and then some slightly sweeter fruit: grape or green plum. Even a little glycerol; the oak is well absorbed. Seems to have perfect Chablis ripeness, on the edge between full ripeness and underripeness but without toppling over on either side. 17
