BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Mid-red; real purity of Pinot fruit on the nose, clear-cut and scented; nicely balanced, classic Chambolle. Light, delicate, fresh, very finely tannic; pure, scented Pinot fruit with lovely length for village wine, and excellent persistence too. First-rate for the level, and typical of the village. Needs 2–3 years, but a very nice example of village Chambolle. 15+
