Stephen Brook: Sweet generous nose, cherries and vanilla. Rich and tannic, but a bit hollow, oak dominates the fruit now. Blunt finish with little finesse, although it doesn’t lack length. 16
Michael Schuster: Pale to mid-purple; dense, faintly peppery nose; very nicely balanced, moderately concentrated; finely, firmly tannic. Fresh ripe red-cherry fruit flavor, with a gentle minerality, premier cru tenacity, close-knit quality, and noticeably good scented length. Clearly more density and matter than the very good Poissenots—indeed, a certain muscularity here. Will need a few years. From 2014. 17
