Andrew Jefford: Red-black, with vivid, almost flamboyant fruit coaxed into shape by rich oak. Deep, forceful, and statuesque on the palate, packed with sweet cherry and raspberry given a coffee-cream finish from the oak. Seductive and showy just now, but will settle into something softer and more harmonious .
