Stephen Brook: Rich cherry and nutmeg nose. Fresh, sleek, and concentrated, quite oaky and tannic, certainly has grip, but has only moderate acidity; quite long. 16

Michael Schuster: Deep purple; rich and pure ripe Pinot to smell; beautifully balanced middleweight premier cru with a barely perceptible tannin and fresh, defining acidity; ripe, vivid and juicy in fruit, with premier cru race and subtlety, not a trace of excess extract or coarseness, long, pure and delicate, and with fine, scented persistence. Pretty, charming, pure, fresh, vital—lovely. Drinkable early, but probably no hurry! 2009–18. 16.5+
