Stephen Brook: Nose resembles Estournelles. Solid, tannic, burly, extracted, and very oaky. A blunt instrument. 15

Michael Schuster: Deep puple; dense, closed, mineral; ripe red fruit to smell; very nicely balanced rich middleweight with a particularly fine tannin; juicily ripe cherry-fruit flavors backed by a clear minerality, along with density and complexity, and not a trace of coarseness. Lovely length across the palate, and great persistence of scent on the finish; a stylish, if not big, grand cru beauty. From 2015. 17.5/18
