Michael Schuster:Mid-purple-red; freshly ripe red and black cherry plus a touch of new wood to smell; a generous middleweight, fresh and finely tannic; sweet-fruited, pure, vital, succulent, and gently mouthcoating, a very aromatic presence round the fruit, a core fruit concentration that is a distinct step up even from the Grands Echézeaux; long to taste, subtle, complex, and prolonged in fruit sweetness on a very persistent and fragrant aftertaste. Lovely wine. A graceful, fine-boned beauty, combining sweetness, charm, class, enticement. 2026–36+.
