Michael Schuster:Mid-purple; lovely scented nose; persistent and opulent in the glass; rich, fresh, finely tannic, a lovely middleweight balance; sweet, subtly fleshy, fresh, complex, and racy to taste, very long across the palate, full of inner energy, a prolonged, subtle, finely firm beauty with a gorgeous aftertaste. Not particularly big, but notably aromatic, beautifully defined, and complete. Very fine grand cru Burgundy. Lovely wine. But I’d wait 15 years. 2028–40+.
