Margaret Rand: Powerful, mineral and pure; muscular and weighty, with a very long finish. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Pale gold; ripe, citrussy fruit to smell, quite marked by its new oak; moderately concentrated, medium-full wine with adequate acidity, but overall relatively supple. Premier cru complexity and subtlety there, but without any great depth. Nice length, though—and with the overall delicacy typical of Genevrières, it has to be said! So, a good, fruity, charming wine. Premier cru quality, yes, but not at the top. Drink young. 16+
