Andrew Jefford: A little paler than the village wine. Cool strawberries and raspberries; touch of empyreumatics (though not from oak). An aroma of great finesse and subtlety, like diving into a cool pool of red fruits. Elegant, fresh, ripe, some grip; very light and tiptoe-tenuous, yet the fruit definition is ravishing and the ripeness is impressive. If bottled very sensitively and drunk soon, this could be a kind of masterclass in delicacy à la bourgignonne. 15
