Michael Schuster: Pale lemon; dense, discreet, mineral, and oak cedar; medium-full wine, with a fresh acidity; long and delicate and subtle in the classic Laguiche Montrachet style; very tenacious across the palate, but in an understated way: scented, fine, discreet, persisistent, delicately minerally, and very long in aftertaste. Not a big wine, but clearly a very fine one. Not a “grand” grand cru, but impressive all the same, with the subtlety of the terroir evident throughout. Amazing gentle length! Delicious and impressive, if you look carefully. Should drink well youngish but will doubtless last well, too. 2014–26. 18
