Nicolas Belfrage: Deepish with turn on rim. More vegetal than fruit on nose. Fruit – cherry, damson – comes through n palate, held by fine line of acidity, but otherwise the structure is a bit loose. Sour cherry prevails on finish, good length, has character if lacking a bit of power. 14

Roy Richards Very smelly, sulfur – doesn’t go away. This is sour. 7

Franco Ziliani: Unclean, animal, reductive, Bretty nose without any elegance and freshness very extractive without balance and finesse. The mouth is simply a fruit salad, marmalade, without energy. Too simple, too banal for a real Brunello! 11.5
