Alison Buchanan: Lovely yellow–gold in color, this has a very attractive nose and a residing fresh acidity. There is still some grapefruit there and nuts balanced by riper orchard fruit. This will still make people smile – bright, fresh and alluring. 16
Alex Hunt: Mature, quite complex nose of dried fruit and chalk. The palate fails to deliver on this promise, however; while concentrated, it lacks definition and finishes hot. 12
Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Some (pleasing) oxidation here: dried flower intrigue. Vivid and almost juicy still: better than I expected from the nose. Not merely acidity, but a kind of grassy, floral fullness too. Still a good bottle. 14.5
