Jasper Morris: Dense, brownish orange-red. Much prettier fruit than its immediate predecessors, with juicy fruit through the middle—this has weight and charm and shows some of the heart of Richebourg. Balanced acidity. Brilliant full midpalate later on, but again a strict finish. This might break free of its shackles, though—it is still youthful. The richness of fruit was still there with time. Just about stacks up as a grand cru from a fine, mature vintage.
