Jasper Morris: Pure, clear, bright, and youthful. Nothing ready to show on the nose yet, but there is in the mouth: broad fruit across the palate, very youthful, some tannins, not much acidity. Brooding and waiting. Perfect balance. Suavity and energy. We often forget this vintage, but we shouldn’t. This wine has weight, fruit, and balance, but it just needs time— at least five more years.
