Jasper Morris: Lighter color, a slightly orange edge. Some bright fruit, but still edgy, some rose petals, high acidity, backward but not far from approaching drinkability. The nose begins to blossom, and the wine gains volume in the mouth. Very clean and pure, delicious. A difficult year because of heavy hail on August 2. Picked very late for complicated reasons, but this may have proved to be the right decision for the vintage. Definitely rose petals. Holds together really well in the glass.
