Essi Avellan: Pale youthful color. Fresh and appetizing nose of yellow apple, lemon, and orange blossom. Attractive yeast and pastry complexity. Straightforward and correct on the fleshy round body. A little hollow, with an expansive mousse. An appropriately dry but shortish finish. 88
Simon Field: Soft, pale clay color; a slightly recalcitrant bead; primary fruit on the nose, citric above all; the palate adheres to a sensible acid/sugar continuum, without overwhelming with concentration or inherent quality. Perfectly well-made, for all that. 89
Anthony Rose: Pale lemony green in color, this has a fine, lively aromatic quality, with underlying nutty autolytic notes, a bright, refreshing fruit quality in the mouth, showing in its nicely balanced mousse, ripe peach, and a juiciness of texture whose dry, skinsy grip brings a nice tang and balancing freshness to the wine. 92
