Essi Avellan: Pale peach-toned color. Mild, cleanly fruity nose, with restraint. Little stirred and drying on the palate, a contrast to the nose. Austere finish, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. 88

Simon Field: Pink-tinged, the mousse both ludic and persistent; the nose recalls dried flowers, mace, and oatmeal; the palate is quite sweet, with the red berries well-cushioned for sure, but cloying a little on the finish. Not that much scope for evolution, but very pleasant today; grip on the finish, gastronomic potential, with savory nuances; umami and dried ceps. 89

Anthony Rose: Pale gold in color, this is pleasingly fragrant, subtly combining light berry and bruised apple notes with a hint of nuttiness; there’s some pleasing berry fruit in the taste here, with a mousse that’s pulled up just a tad short by the phenolic grip and dry finish. 88
