Andrew Jefford: Dark, dense black-red. Vivid, plush, splendidly upholstered black-cherry fruits: fruited charm here. A little pinch of green behind. Soft, deep, vivid, with slightly more reserved cherry fruit than for some of its peers, and that green note providing some freshness and zest. The tannins are softly extracted but generous; they structure the middle and end palate very firmly. Outstanding Morgon in rather cool style. 90
Peter Liem: This feels dark and coffee-like, and while it shows a ripe depth of fruit, it doesn’t have a great deal of length or complexity on the finish. 84
