Patricio Tapia: An abundance of snow accumulated in the Andes during the winter of 1995, which resulted in lower temperatures in the foothills. The cold influence produces a Don Melchor that is brilliant in its freshness and sense of place. The herbal aromas—rosemary and eucalyptus—are clearly present, but elegantly blended with red fruit.
