Andrew Jefford: Bright gold. Clean, fresh, silky, a little reticent: delicate peach. On the palate, this is full, broad, chunky, chewy, with lots of secondary complexities, and resonantly dry. A very different minerality to Germany: more passive and understated, but palpably there on the finish; indeed, the more you scrutinize the fruit on the central palate, the more you realize that an inner minerality provides most of its interest. A wine it would be easy to underestimate, but its quiet qualities would be amply evident over the course of a slowly enjoyed bottle. 15.5

Andreas Larsson: An aromatic and pure nose that evokes late-picked autumn fruit (yellow plum, apricot) and honey, with some mineral notes. The palate is nicely balanced and quite rich, with nice fruit and good extract. The finish is long to very long. 16.5

Stephan Reinhardt: Intense yellow. Yeast-dominated fruit aromas. On the palate, this is clear yet very ripe and a little bit oxidized; bitter, quite harsh, and drying out. 12.5
