BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Deep black-red. Spicy, oaky, and rich; savory, too. An attractive and uncompromised aroma. Soft, bright, and athletic on the palate, but with some central palate shortness and a mixture of black fruit and acidic elderberry on the finish. Drink while the tannins still lend the wine a bit of texture and youthful force. Now to 2020. 84

Stephen Brook: Lean cranberry nose but not too green. Medium-bodied, fresh but light and simple with strident acidity on the finish. Fairly short. 84
