Ella Lister: Intriguing and inviting, the nose is full of savory character (herbal and a touch vegetal in a welcome sense), as well as rich chocolate. The wine is punchy in the mouth, with a tight core of concentrated yet fresh and perfectly ripe, poised fruit. It has excellent weight and presence, with a balance of rich fruit and lively acidity, then gorgeous tannins—more cotton than silk.
