Margaret Rand: A warm autumn, giving very concentrated, shriveled grapes with excellent acidity. It’s darker in color and has some Zeta in the blend, with a distinctive orange-marmalade nose, spicy and savory. Very creamy and lush, too. Tremendous richness pierced with high acidity: a wine of two parts, but the two parts are well knit, and the tension between them is exciting.
