BUY THE WINE

Margaret Rand: A showery year with a lot of botrytis but not much shriveling. Nevertheless, the wine tastes fairly roasted and cooked, with intense, savory characters and a very big finish. It’s 60 percent Hárslevelű, which is unusual (60+ percent Furmint is more common) and 20 percent Zeta and has a distinct character.
