Margaret Rand: A warm, dry year, which culminated in lots of good dried botrytis. The wine has classic coffee and smoky citrus flavors, with a strong botrytis note, tense, with perfect balance. There’s a lovely line of acidity stretched tight through the richness and wrapped in savory syrup. Very complete and elegant.
