Tom Stevenson: Deepish color, nice, but not exceptional and beginning to show its age now. Jean-Baptiste agreed that there were some “signs of oxidation, especially on the bouquet,” but he also found “some balance and elegance on the palate.” He also confessed, however, that he had recently tasted some bottles that were in a much better shape, so maybe this is one Cristal vintage for which collectors should pay a premium for 75cl bottles! (disgorged July 9, 2007; 11g/l dosage)
