Tom Stevenson: Atypically deeper color Cristal Rosé, with a rustic edge to the aroma and a taste of grape skins on the palate, which could be very useful at the table, but lacks the precision and finesse expected from this cuvée. Jean-Baptiste found “the beginning of oxidative evolution” but liked this more than I did, finding it “true to Cristal Rosé, with some smokiness.” (disgorged September 3, 2002)
