Stephen Brook: Spicy nose, oranges and peach, honeyed botrytis tones, quite burnished; stylish too. Rich, juicy, creamy, quite full-bodied, sumptuous fruit, good concentration, and good acidity. Has weight but no blowsiness. Orange and barley sugar on the finish. Quite good length. Lamothe-Guignard can disappoint, but this is very good. 17

Michael Schuster: Deep gold; slightly “flat” raisiny character on the nose; rich middleweight with a lively acidity; very sweet, gently mineral backed, with a clear botrytis complexity, an attractive, if lesser “raciness” and good length. Very nice, very sweet, slightly more restrained expression of the vintage. But complete, and good. 16
