Another big step up in refining the wine’s style. This remains my favorite vintage for drinking right now. The lovely purity of dark fruit, subtlety, finesse, and long finish really grab you. Subtle cassis scents and flavors, racy energy, and velvety texture show the wine’s increasing polish and sophistication. More intense than many Bordeaux in this vintage. | 92
