Open and harmonious, with bright cranberry and spice aromas and flavors, this was my least favorite wine. Supple-textured with some finesse, it’s also light and a little simple. The complicated growing season was a serious challenge, with rain and lack of sun, a hot, dry summer, and warm, wet September with threat of botrytis. Meticulous selection saved the day. | 87
