BUY THE WINE

James Lawther: As a second wine this is really quite something. Beautifully refined nose. Great purity of fruit —cassis and blueberry notes. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with the gentle opulence of the year. Lovely fruit again, then freshness and length on the finish. Delicious and precise. Early allure, but this should age as well. Drink 2016–30. 18
