BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: A dense, sappy, red-fruited, mineral-backed nose; moderately rich, very lively, very light and fine in tannin; deliciously sweet, juicy, pure, transparent, scented, ethereal; very long across the palate, lovely tenacity of flavor, and great length of delicate, fruit perfume. Like the Ausone itself, a beautiful combination of delicacy and power. 2026–36+. 93–94

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Delicate unctuousness, subtle fruit, great refined tannin, structured length. Magnificent. 96
