Michael Schuster: Raisiny ripe to smell; concentrated, finely tannic, very nicely balanced; very sweet in fruit, pure, transparent, and subtle; long and aromatic across the palate, a touch warm from the alcohol, but with great fragrant persistence. Intensely flavored, remarkably fine, complete and without excess, lovely La Mondotte. 2028–40+. 92–94

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: This wine is full of charm and depth; a fleshy impression in the mouth with an alcohol and body balanced out by the freshness of the tannins. This cru is a classic. 97
