Michael Schuster: Fresh and ripe to smell, raspberry and black cherry; fullish, crisp in acidity, firm and fine in tannin; concentrated, sweet, pure, and linear, with the particular “sweet and fresh” character of so many 2016s, plus a nice flowing quality and good length. As always, this is a most attractive modern “ripe” style, but absolutely without any excess. 2024–34. 90–92
