Michael Schuster: Very faintly raisiny-ripe nose alongside the crisply ripe fruit; full, fresh, generous, finely dry in tannin; a gently fleshy flavor, refined, fresh, racy and complex within the slightly wood-dry texture; long and refined across the palate, finishing in a subtle, fragrant, mineral, and ripe fruit aftertaste, of lovely length. Fine Pomerol, and it is clearly the wine of a top terroir. For my personal taste the texture could be a bit finer: I am always distracted a little by the new-oak tannin texture, but I appreciate that this is largely a question of individual perception and of taste. 2026–36+. 92–93
