BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; dense and complex to smell, aromatic; rich and concentrated, with a lively (for the year) defining acidity; intensely sweet, rich, concentrated, long across the palate, aromatic, with its botrytis complexity and spiciness very clear, and with good length. There is not quite the volume and the concentration of aromatic aftertaste that one would always hope to have in a really “great,” complete vintage; but this is nevertheless very good indeed. 93–95
