Andrew Jefford: Mid black-red. Mixed aromas of some appeal: there is warmth and nutty fruit in here and some grassy freshness, too; the two work quite well together, though it’s not something you’d seek out. Exactly the same could be said of the palate, which is open, soft, ready now and very mixed in ripeness, but lent a little in interest by the evident breed of the site and the fact that it isn’t just green materials that are in here, but also some warmer and riper ones that merely lack a little concentration. Don’t pay a lot, though, and drink it as soon as possible. Now to 2019. 86
