Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Sweetly plummy and oaky in scent: toasty, coffee tones on the fruit. A slightly rounder, riper style than its flight peers on the palate, too. A 2013 of which one might almost say juicy, which is rare. It lacks some poise and finesse, though. Hard work evident to deliver some concentration. Now to 2019. 85
