BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Deep, saturated black-red. Sweet, strong, and masterful: elderberries and sloe, with some oak, too. Rich, vivid, spicy fruits, with some firm tannic support and with the acidity deftly in balance. Sound and satisfying, if unpolished. 2018–22. 88

Michael Schuster: Both ripe fruit and a lightly “leafy”/herbal character on the nose; medium-full, quite sweet behind the slightly chewy tannin, modest complexity and length. The slight austerity of some Médocs in the vintage. 2019–29. 87
