Andrew Jefford: Clear black-red. Some reduction when first poured. This quickly clears to give warm, ripe blackcurrant beneath: appetizing and classical. Round, curranty, deep, and well-balanced; savory and appetizing, and as classical as you like, too, on the palate. Only the abrupt finish gives the vintage game away. A good short-term buy at the right price. Now to 2019. 86
Michael Schuster: Oak-cedar tinged nose; light, dry-edged, crisp, on the leaner side of the vintage, very red fruit in flavor, fairly brief to finish. Would be a bit on the lean, austere side for many but if you don't mind that….. Now to 2022 83
