BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Deep, clear black-red. Light, fragrant redcurrant fruits. Some strawberry, too. A little short and simple, but attractive fruit here. On the palate, though, I can’t say it’s a good buy; the fruit selected for the second wine (or rather out of the first wine) lacks freshness and precision and lift, though the supportive tannins are welcome and will keep it upright a few years. Now to 2019. 82

Michael Schuster: Ripe, plummy Merlot to smell; supple, fresh, medium-full wine; light ripe red-fruit flavor, sweet, easy, gently fine, nice length across the palate, nice length to finish. A good second wine. Now to 2025. 88
