Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Fresh, with some green leaf; cool breezes. A palpable sweetness from oak here. Dense and deep, with finely managed tannins, but there’s no escaping the cool, lean, slender style and the fact that it is acidity that principally structures the palate. Now to 2020. 84

Michael Schuster: Crisply red-fruit ripe to smell; medium-full, crisp in acidity, lightly dry in tannin; a gently ripe flavor and light length of aftertaste, too. A nice, fresh to crisp, gently chewy, glass of lesser claret over the next few years. Now to 2023. 86
