Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red, not far off opaque. Another rather laborious scent: sweet oak and green-toned fruit (the New Zealand combination). Cardboard touch. On the palate, there is more harmony between the elements and the green notes are restrained: soft, fresh, lively, leafy, and enjoyable in the short term. Now to 2020. 84
Michael Schuster: Oak-cedary, red-fruit nose; structure here quite tannic (oak and fruit), dominates a very light red fruit; chewy and tannic, and brief. Not much pleasure, and needs food. May soften over the longer term? But I’m not sure. Now to 2022. 84
