Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Pungent, warm, just a touch rubbery or reduced somehow; there’s no pristine perfume here. Some grassy slenderness, too. Lively and fresh, but very much a child of the vintage. Now to 2019. 84
Stephen Brook: Good depth of color. Rich toasty black-fruits nose, quite savory. Leaner on the palate than the nose, with rather hard tannins and a distinct grippiness and lack of generosity. Decent fruit, but pinched. Medium length. 88
