Andrew Jefford: Deep red-black. Sweet, warm, currants, and berries: pure, ripe, and good. Surprisingly deep and well-structured for a second wine in this vintage. You can taste the briskness and freshness of the year, but there is in fact plenty of purity and depth of fruit behind here. The end result is ample simple deliciousness. Now to 2021. 88

Stephen Brook: Juicy oaky blackberry nose, showing spice and vigor. Rich and forthright, with blazing but harsh acidity, and good concentration of fruit. Vigorous and fresh, and a fairly long positive finish. Impressive for a second wine. 90
