Michel Bettane: Good color, spicy nose, better texture and more comfortable oak, delicate finish for a Pauillac, good balance, excellent value for money. 16

Thierry Desseauve: Tobacco and spicy flavors, fresh fruits, ample and ambitious, with soft tannins, good length, and good aging potential. A future classic of the vintage. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Ripe blackberry fruit to smell; very nicely balanced, fleshy, finely firm and middleweight; classy texture, ripe and fleshy, long and refined, with gently spicy blackcurrant fruit, rewarding to taste, long to finish. Excellent d’Armailhac, typical of the best of Philippe Dhalluin’s vinification and approach; stylish Pauillac. Notably fine fruit and fine texture at the level, for the vintage. 2015–25+. 16
